What BharatLaxmi does
Bill-by-bill interest
Simple interest day by day, only on the part of a bill still unpaid after its due date. Rate per year or per month, 365 or 360-day year.
Credit & grace days
Due date = bill date + credit days. Grace counted from the bill date: paid within grace, interest from due date; after grace, from bill date.
Opening balance interest
Charge interest on the opening balance with its own due date and grace days, or switch it off.
Smart payment matching
Receipts settle the bill of the same amount first, then the oldest bill. Returns, credit notes and journals adjust too.
Buyer, seller or both
Interest receivable on sales or payable on purchases; purchase entries netted off or excluded; voucher types included or excluded.
Account-wise & bill-wise terms
Different rate, credit days or grace per account, and per bill. Skip any bill with one key.

BharatLaxmi FAQ
How does BharatLaxmi calculate interest?
Each bill gets a due date (bill date + credit days). Payments are adjusted to bills (same amount first, then oldest). Simple interest is charged day by day only on the unpaid part after the due date.
Does it work with BUSY 21, BUSY Magic and Tally?
Yes. Export the party ledger to Excel from BUSY 21, BUSY Magic or Tally and import it. Direct fetch from BUSY and TallyPrime is coming in version 3.0.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. BharatLaxmi runs offline on your computer; your ledger never leaves your PC.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 15 days with all features. Download the setup, register inside the tool and start at once.
What does '2026-27 edition' mean?
Every build works until 31 March 2027. Before that you download the next edition from this site and re-validate your licence; your settings and licence carry over. Setup files themselves should be installed within 30 days of download.
Can I calculate interest payable to a supplier?
Yes. Choose Seller (interest on purchases) or Buyer (interest on sales).
