Export Balance Sheet, P&L and Trial Balance from BUSY to Excel or PDF (CA-ready)

Export BUSY Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and Trial Balance to Excel or PDF with Alt+E, check closing stock and opening mismatches first, and send a clean set to your CA.
Before audit or ITR, your CA usually asks for the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and Trial Balance, in Excel so they can work on the figures. BUSY exports every report to Excel or PDF from the report screen.
Check the figures first
- Take a backup (Company > Backup Data).
- Closing stock showing 0? In Display > Final Results > Balance Sheet set the option to update balance sheet stock to Y.
- Opening balances not matching last year? Display > Trial Balance > Opening Trial - Mismatch from Prev. Yr. lists every account that differs.
- Wrong totals after a migration or crash? House-Keeping > Update Master Balance, then check again.
Export the Balance Sheet / P&L to Excel
Open the report
Display > Final Results > Balance Sheet > Horizontal (Standard) (or Profit & Loss). Enter the date range and press OK.
Export
Click Export at the top of the screen, or press Alt+E.
Choose the format
Pick Microsoft Excel (or PDF), set the folder and file name, press OK.
Export the Trial Balance
Open it
Display > Trial Balance > Closing Trial - Alphabetical, then Balances only or Detailed, and All / Group / Selected accounts.
Set the dates
Year start to year end, then OK.
Export
Alt+E, choose Microsoft Excel or PDF, save.
What to send your CA
- Balance Sheet and P&L in Excel (and PDF for record)

- Party ledgers where balances are disputed (Alt+L, open the ledger, Alt+E to PDF)

Open Display > Final Results > Balance Sheet, enter the dates, press Alt+E (Export), choose Microsoft Excel and save.
How do I export the trial balance from BUSY?
Display > Trial Balance > Closing Trial - Alphabetical, choose accounts and dates, then Alt+E and pick Excel or PDF.
Closing stock shows zero in the BUSY balance sheet. Why?
